About the role:

We are seeking an energetic self-starter with experience in B2B selling for our fast-growing technology product. You will be selling the latest in placemaking technology to customers including tourism destination marketing organizations, museums, business improvement areas, and economic development organizations. Your role will cover prospecting, lead development, closing, and account management.

We’re seeking someone with an established track record of success in sales. You will need to demonstrate persistence and creativity in accessing and influencing stakeholders. You’ll need to advance deals through key stages in complex buying environments, and maximize sale size and retention by developing good relationships and managing accounts effectively. This role comes with considerable opportunity for growth and advancement, so we’re looking for someone ambitious with a mind on building success long-term.

What comes across your desk:

  • Learning product knowledge and sales process

  • Sales support, prospecting, lead development, and closing 

  • Selling into multiple channels - social, phone, email, networking

  • Documentation and data entry 

  • Supporting proposals, quotes and contracts to close deals

Is this you?

  • 2-3 years experience selling B2B products and/or services 

  • Track record of meeting sales quotas 

  • Experience with technology and startup environments

  • Experience working with tourism or local business

  • Experience using CRMs - Hubspot preferred

  • Experience with sales automation tools

  • Capacity with docs and spreadsheets 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Driven to learn independently and take ownership over KPIs

  • Impact focused and empathetic to social issues

  • Confident and social people person

Bonus points:

  • French fluency

  • Spanish fluency

  • Korean fluency

  • Other language fluency 

  • Knowledge/experience in sales management
