You as a Marketing & Communications Coordinator will:

 

  • Develop and write for a variety of marketing collateral which includes but not limited to digital presentations, project profiles, case studies, reports, speaking notes, procurement and proposal documents, etc.
  • Maintain area intranet page by writing and updating content.
  • Maintain area photo data base and coordinate photography as necessary.
  • Ensure corporate website accurately depicts area by way of project profiles, area leadership and contact information.
  • Strategize and write area social media posts and coordinate with corporate marketing to be included in corporate posts.
  • Maintain area resume data base including updating, creating, and arranging for photography as necessary.
  • Maintain area digital library including project and area photos and videos. Work with and coordinate vendors as needed.
  • Respond to community and public outreach inquiries.
  • Assist in the development and execution of area events which can include but limited to charitable functions, meetings, golf tournaments, and annual general meetings.
  • Actively participate in monthly marketing meetings with corporate marketing.
  • Providing copywriting and editing support for area stakeholders as needed.
  • Work with corporate marketing for enhancing new and existing materials.
  • Coordinate advertising requests and sponsorships while leading their design, writing and execution.
  • Provide ad-hoc support other administrative teams.
  • Research and stay up to date on the latest area Marketing trends and competitive analysis and provide recommendations on tactics to support the execution of strategic Marketing & Communications plans for the area.

 

Is this the right role for you?

 

  • College diploma or University degree in Marketing and/or Communications
  • 3-5 years experience.
  • Proficient in full MS Office suite and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a major asset
  • Photo and video production experience an asset
  • Excellent written, and oral communications
  • Highly adaptable and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management with the ability to work on simultaneous projects
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
