Overview

Classic Fire + Life Safety is the fastest growing fire protection company in Canada, and we are looking to add an administrative and organizational coordinator to our marketing team.  In this role, you will take ownership of the planning and organizing of company branded merchandise, company sponsored events and tradeshows, as well as manage all internal company documentation to ensure the branding and marketing needs of all divisions and departments are met.

 

  • Manage all Internal Company Documentation
    • Work with divisional managers to create new and update existing company forms as requested using Adobe InDesign
    • Create company and divisional newsletters
    • Organize and maintain a central library for all company documentation

 

  • Uniform Management
    • Manage relationship with key supply partners
    • enter uniform orders for new hires so that uniforms are ready on their first day
    • Fulfill orders from remote branch offices as needed
    • Maintaining minimal levels of stock of t-shirts, hats, toques in the North York and London offices

 

  • Company Branded Clothing
    • Run the company’s branded clothing eStore
    • Handle all employee questions and comments
    • Send out communications to all employees as needed

 

  • SWAG Management
    • Ordering new SWAG as directed by divisional leaders and support them with ideas and samples and pricing
    • Maintain minimal levels of SWAG in London to support various marketing activities

 

  • Event’s Organizer and Team Lead
    • Registering staff for shows and events as directed by divisional managers
    • attending shows and sponsored events to minimize sales involvement (within Ontario)
    • Sign up for sponsorships of customer and industry events as directed by the Director of Marketing.

 

  • Tradeshow Management
    • Setting up and tearing down tradeshows and events within Ontario.
    • Supporting remote branches with their tradeshow and event needs
    • Registering staff as directed by divisional managers

 

  • Manage Industry Association Memberships
    • Track and maintain relationships with key industry associations that we are members with
    • Organize sponsorship opportunities

 

  • Duties
    • Provide support for Design Manager
    • Manage incoming customer requests through website forms

 

Your Personality:

You are a nice person with a positive attitude.  You get along with others.

You are obsessed with organization and taking control of the duties assigned to you.

Your attention to detail and accuracy is second nature and people trust you to never forget appointments or to-do items.

You know when to email, when to text, and when to pick up the phone to get things done.

 

Your Technical Skills:

You have worked with or have familiarity with various computer systems including Microsoft Office, Apple, and Google.

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Illustrator is an asset.  Willing to train capable candidates who are willing to learn.

A valid driver’s license.

 

The Details:

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience

Permanent Part-time (20-30hrs per week)

Flexible schedule with ability to work from home

Some travel within Ontario will be required
