Reporting to the Director, Innovation and Product Planning, the Product Innovation Manager is responsible for driving strategic product innovation and growth within the water treatment portfolio.
In this role, you will identify emerging customer needs, evaluate new technologies, and translate insights into strategic product roadmaps and development initiatives. Acting as a customer champion, you will collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, marketing, and external partners to bring innovative solutions to market that solve meaningful industrial water challenges.
This position is part of the Innovation and Product Planning team located in London, ON and will be hybrid as a preference. We are open to considering candidates remote in Canada.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
Drive Strategic Growth from New Product Development
- Identifying high-value customer problems and market opportunities within industrial water treatment segments to guide product innovation priorities.
- Developing business cases, product strategies, and portfolio roadmaps aligned with long-term growth objectives for the industrial solutions portfolio.
- Acting as the customer champion by translating Voice of Customer insights and market needs into clear technical and commercial product requirements.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, marketing, and supply chain to advance product development initiatives.
Project Management
- Managing early-stage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects progress efficiently from concept through development.
- Facilitating communication across stakeholders to resolve challenges, maintain alignment, and support successful product launches.
Open Innovation Initiatives
- Identifying and evaluating external technologies, partners, and emerging innovations to accelerate solution development.
- Organizing and facilitating innovation workshops or collaborative events to generate and evaluate new product concepts.
- Managing the onboarding and integration of external innovations into our product development pipeline
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product innovation, or product planning roles in highly technical environments.
- Demonstrated experience developing product strategies, business cases, and product roadmaps, and leading cross-functional teams from concept through product launch.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% internationally.
It would be nice if you also possess:
- Advanced degree such as MBA or Master’s in Engineering, Science, or Business
- Exposure to the the water treatment industry
- Experience with water treatment processes (filtration, UV, ozonation technologies…)

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000 CAD per year. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
