PowerCo Canada Inc. is seeking a proactive and experienced Digital Solution Rollout Manager to lead the successful deployment of digital solutions across our organization. In this role, you will be managing a group of MES and connectivity solution specialists for managing St Thomas MES rollout plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring user adoption, and optimizing solution performance post-deployment. Moreover, you will be representing St. Thomas factory in the central digitalization team where most of these initiatives are defined, designed, developed and tested before rolling out to local site. Your expertise will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring smooth transitions and measurable outcomes from our digital initiatives. Considering the criticality of MES system for the operation of our new battery production facility, you will have a high impact in the success of ST. Thomas project. After deployment, this role will be a key in defining and driving St. Thomas site’s digitalization strategy and roadmap.

This is a flex hybrid work structure, where employees can work both remotely and on-site at our St. Thomas location.

Key Responsibilities

•    Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of digital solution rollouts in  ST. Thomas facility
•    Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks during deployment, escalating when necessary.
•    Manage and mentor a team of MES and connectivity solutions specialists, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
•    Support central digitalization team in design, develop and adaptation of various solutions such as MES, BAS, PLM, LIMS, and interfaces of these systems together
•    Collect and communicate Local requirements management (e.g., legal, regulatory, cultural)
•    Develop and maintain detailed rollout project plans, schedules, and risk assessments.
•    Coordination of the standardized and mandatory digitalization landscape and architecture
•    Coordination of IT Infrastructure rollout with SW rollout
•    Coordination of machine connectivity and gateway connection to  equipment on the shopfloor in the rollout
•    Rollout planning and coordination within the equipment planning teams responsible for developing new equipment
•    Manage connectivity between production equipment and digital systems, ensuring accurate real-time data capture and analysis.
•    Steer and collaborate with 3rd party suppliers working on the connectivity solution
•    Manage the process of collecting and implementing shopfloor hardware requirements
•    Oversee requirement management for new applications
•    Sharing key insights and learnings from initial acceptance and testing
•    Willingness to present on shopfloor and hands-on approach for solving issues
•    Act as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders (IT, operations, business teams) and external vendors or solution providers.
•    Oversee user onboarding, training, and support processes to ensure high adoption rates.
•    Monitor post-rollout performance, gather user feedback, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
•    Ensure compliance with internal governance, data privacy, and security standards during rollout.
•    Identify skill gaps and provide training opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
•    Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for MES use and updates.
•    Lead troubleshooting efforts for implementation challenges or operational issues.
•    Ensure accurate and efficient collection, storage, and analysis of production data through MES and connected systems.
•    Generate insightful reports and dashboards for senior management to support decision-making.
•    Ensure all digital systems comply with industry standards and local regulations.
•    Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to safeguard digital assets from threats.

What you bring to the Team

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus (Master’s preferred).
•    +6 years of working in a manufacturing organization to understand how a manufacturing company works and what is expected from digitalization with 3+ years of experience in leading digital manufacturing solutions development projects
•    Experience of implementing an MES system is required.
•    Experience of battery manufacturing is an advantage.
•    Knowledge of PLM, BAS, SAP, LIMS are plus.
•    Excellent project management and leadership skills.
•    PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
•    Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•    Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
•    Ability to adapt to changing requirements and new technologies..
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
