We have 130M fans that we reach across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok and we are continuously adding new products, platforms and brands to our portfolio.
You might know us for some of our social brands: Crafty, Mommy Needs Vodka, Delicious, Aunty Acid and Diply Facts!. As a member of our senior management team, you will be leveraging your brand management and marketing expertise to facilitate our transition to a brand-based organization as well as bringing a strategic approach to the development and growth of each of our brands.
This is the right role for you if you have…
deep expertise in developing, growing and monetizing/commercializing brands in a digital environment, across multiple platforms
a proven track record in generating new concepts and creative ideas to advance and leverage the brand including fostering partnerships
a solid understanding of developing personas, audience engagement metrics and brand standards to guide plans to strengthen the health of the brand
exceptional relationship development capabilities including facilitating planning and decision making with multiple internal stakeholders to maximize brand outcomes
at least 2 years’ experience leading a team and the ability to hold people accountable on commitments as well as coach the development of your team’s performance
strong problem solving skills, a keen sense of knowing when you need to roll up your sleeves to get the job done combined with an unwavering willingness to make it happen
an innate ability to ask the right questions and translate strategic brand visions into brand plans and growth outcomes
About this role…
This is a brand new role at Diply responsible for building our systems, processes and practices related to the management and growth of our brands. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is responsible for leading the development of a growth strategy for each brand as well as the execution of plans focused on ensuring the commercial success of each brand as well as the health of the brand. The role works closely with Product Management, Technology / Software Development and Audience Development (content and platforms) to ensure the business achieves its objectives for monetizing its brands and growing its audience reach as well as engagement.
Diply has offices in both Toronto and London (ON), and our preference is to hire for Toronto although other geographic locations will be considered, however, travel may be involved as a result. During this time, all staff members are working from home until further notice.
