The Position:
We especially need you to be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, but we ESPECIALLY need you to ensure that all communication that leaves our office is up to the high standard that our clients have come to expect.So What Will You Do?
- Assist in all functions of the planning and execution of the Carbon Edge marketing strategy, specifically in the area of online marketing, social media, copy-writing and brand development.
- Like Photoshop? Canva? Adobe Premiere? Oh, you’ll be using those!
- Preference will be given to someone with HTML and CSS or CMS experience
- Work well under pressure and adhere to multiple deadlines.
- Have awesome Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Push buttons just to “see what they do”
- Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
- Ask “why?” but in an analytical way, not rhetorical.
- Have exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Other administration duties as required. Nothing gets us more excited than administrative duties. Not even fireworks.
- Assist with the research and developing of online marketing strategies and campaigns
- Write creative and persuasive copy.
- Prepare reports, background documentation, and research.
- Provide assistance with advertising and promotional material, communication strategy, competitor analysis, market research, sales analysis, product management, product development and all other aspects related to marketing.
Qualifcation:
- Must know how to turn on the computer AND the monitor.
- Passionate about the technology and marketing industry
- Unshakable inner strength.
- Strong working knowledge of marketing principles.
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer behaviour.
- Highly creative and versatile.
- Excellent written and verbal skills and comprehension.
- Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
