The Role: Front End Lead Software Engineer/Developer

The Team: Our team supports the S&P Global desktop and mobile platform and capabilities that provide our customers essential intelligence. 

The Impact: Contribute to S&P Global’s component library and front-end capabilities by applying modern federation design patterns.

Responsibilities:  

  • Work with UX designers to improve our component library used within the organization. 

  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions. 

  • Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates. 

  • Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope. 

  • Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives. 

  • Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution. 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Degree in Computer Science or similar degree 

  • 7+ years of experience developing front-end solutions and component libraries 

  • Strong experience in ReactJS and modern HTML5 frontend technologies 

  • Strong experience in Node.js or .NET 

  • Strong experience in CI/CD technologies using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines 

  • Project management and leadership skills are essential 

  • Ability to work with multi-functional and remote Agile teams including code reviews and feedback to engineers

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates): 

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.  

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
