The WSIB is building a candidate pool for current and future full-time and part-time, permanent and temporary opportunities for three (3) roles as outlined below. We are building the candidate pools in our Toronto Office and Various Offices. Should you be successful in this competition, you will be placed in a pool of qualified candidates to be considered for current and future vacancies for the three (3) roles listed below.

Please note hours of work are variable between 7:30am and 5:00pm.

Major Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): All positions:

 
  • Work in a team environment to complete tasks online using various software (including Guidewire).
  • Require attention to detail to work accurately online and with hardcopy document.
  • Some roles have additional physical demands and lifting requirements.
     
Access Review Representative (Toronto)
 
  • Review, process and track access file requests in accordance with the WSI Act, FIPPA and WSIB polices/procedures
     
Document Management Representative (Various Offices)
 
  • Open, sort, prepare, scan, search and match documents
     
Claim Records Management Representative (Various Offices)
 
  • Provides efficient and effective administrative services to support internal and external customers by way of claim profile and participant maintenance
  • Uploading digitized records (from paper, media and microfilm) and completing referral activities to external third parties
     
Education
 
  • High School Completion
     
Professional Requirements and Qualifications
 
  • Knowledge of computer systems, in order to access and input information
  • Experience using software applications, such as Guidewire, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as, strong keyboarding skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as reading skills in order to process information and instructions received, to obtain information and to prepare file notes and template correspondence
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with others and a strong commitment to and experience providing customer service excellence
  • Knowledge of office procedures and experience with office equipment, such as photocopiers and scanners
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics to complete production statistics
