We are looking for a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst – Information Security & Technology Risk.
We are seeking a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to join our high-performing team within the Information Security and Technology Risk portfolio. This role is pivotal in delivering solutions that enhance our security posture, manage technology risk, and enable our business partners to deliver exceptional customer experience. You will play a key role in maturing the company’s risk and security capabilities, driving the adoption of security services, and enabling technology solutions that put the customer at the centre of everything we do. In this strategic role, you will:

What You Will Do
- Translate business strategy into actionable technology solutions by aligning stakeholder needs with enterprise security and risk objectives.
- Facilitate and lead the elicitation of stakeholder needs and requirements across business processes, system functionality, service management, operational needs, and usability.
- Ensure requirements are clear, consumable, and actionable for process and technical design and build.
- Lead stakeholder engagements including meetings, workshops, walkthroughs, and reviews of deliverables.
- Own and manage business requirement dependencies within and across projects or products.
- Document current state business and system processes; collaborate with process owners to define future state, identify gaps, and assess impacts of technology implementations.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring validation, verification, and alignment with business needs.
- Build collaborative partnerships across stakeholder groups, critically evaluate information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus.
- Contribute to project implementation activities including process and system design, testing, change management, training, support documentation, risk management, and rollout planning.
- Promote and contribute to the adoption of new technologies, methods, and tools by evaluating and adapting industry standards and best practices.
- Mentor and support team members in requirements management, needs analysis, and presentation of deliverables.
- Actively contribute to the analyst community by sharing best practices, improving service delivery, and fostering continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring
- Must-have experience in Information Security or Technology Risk projects, including areas of Governance Risk & Compliance, Technology Risk Management, Identity Governance & Administration, Privileged Access Management, and broader Information Security domains.
- 5–10 years of experience as a business process and/or systems analyst with expertise in:
- Process maps and workflow diagrams
- Business requirements and gap analysis
- Use cases, user stories, and business rules
- Functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience with projects deploying Technology GRC platforms.
- University or college education in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint platforms.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Customer-centric approach to problem solving and stakeholder collaboration.
- Deep understanding of how technology supports business goals and enhances customer experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language for executive audiences.
- Proven ability to lead decision-making processes, analyze data patterns, and apply sound judgment.
- Comfortable working in virtual and cross-functional team environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and environments.
- Ability to influence and negotiate win-win outcomes across teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to grasp concepts quickly and work independently.
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Experience with IT project methodologies including waterfall and agile.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks such as, OSFI, SOC2, ISO, SCF, NIST CIS, SWIFT, ICOFR, IFRS17.
- Certifications or training in BA-related practices such as ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, UML.
- Accreditation such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.

The base salary for this position is between $71,000minimum - $119,800 maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
