This one is about shaping how talent works across campus.
We’re looking for a
Talent Acquisition Consultant
who can partner with leaders to solve real workforce challenges - thinking strategically about how work is designed, how teams grow, and how great people are attracted to join them.
This is a role for someone who enjoys influencing hiring decisions, advising leaders, and improving how talent acquisition works in complex organizations.
What you’ll be trusted to do
You’ll work directly with leaders across campus to strengthen how we hire and build teams.
Partnering with hiring leaders to plan talent acquisition strategically, not just respond to vacancies
Advising on role design, job scope, and workforce planning
Leading end-to-end talent acquisition processes for professional and leadership roles
Coaching hiring panels on effective, inclusive selection practices
Developing targeted sourcing strategies to attract strong and diverse talent pools
Providing insights on labour market trends and talent acquisition approaches
Identifying opportunities to improve talent acquisition practices and candidate experience
The kind of person who will thrive here
You’re not just comfortable running talent processes, you enjoy partnering with leaders and influencing better hiring decisions.
You’ll bring:
5+ years comprehensive experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR advisory roles
Certification in Human Resources Leadership (CHRL) or Organizational Design
Confidence working with senior or complex business partners
Strong judgement when advising on role design and recruitment strategy
A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple talent projects while maintaining a great candidate experience
Experience recruiting in large or complex organizations (education, healthcare, government, or corporate environments)
Experience in a unionized environment would be an asset
Why this role stands out
You’ll be a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, not just a process manager
You’ll influence how work is structured and roles are designed
You’ll work across a diverse and intellectually rich campus environment
You’ll help shape better hiring practices across the organization
Salary & Benefits
This is a regular full-time opportunity, fully in-person on-site. Salary Grade 16: base salary of $74,990 - $107,050 per annum. Starting salary will be aligned with the successful candidate’s experience, skills, and demonstrated qualifications.
