Compensation

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $102,000 to $131,000 per year, based on experience. Benefits are also included.

We’re seeking an experienced, client-focused Pharmacist to join our London team in a Pharmacist/Designated Manager (DM) role. If you thrive on leadership, regulatory excellence, and high standards of care, we invite you to bring your expertise to Yurek.

What You’ll Do
As our Pharmacist / Designated Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and compliance of the pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery while leading a team of passionate professionals.
Client Service & Clinical Support
  • Provide exceptional pharmacy care and client counselling
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource to patients, staff, and healthcare providers
  • Deliver training and education sessions to healthcare professionals
Pharmacy Operations
  • Ensure full compliance with DPRA and all applicable regulations
  • Maintain safety, accuracy, and efficiency in prescription fulfillment
  • Manage systems for medication error reporting, narcotic inventory, and expired drug disposal
People Leadership
  • Lead, supervise, and schedule pharmacy staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and competency assessments
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and licensing requirements
  • Ensure adherence to HR and confidentiality policies
Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
  • Uphold standards under all applicable provincial and federal legislation
  • Respond to College of Pharmacists inquiries and manage audits
  • Maintain thorough and secure patient records
Financial Oversight & Business Development
  • Support budgeting and financial performance of the department
  • Engage with suppliers and support marketing initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for growth through community outreach and partnerships

What You Bring
  • BScPhm, PharmD, or equivalent education
  • Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a community pharmacy setting
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management software (experience with Kroll is an asset)
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
