About the Role
You will lead cleanliness activities in the Quality Assurance Lab, conducting cleanliness analyses and driving continuous technical cleanliness improvements. Reporting to the QA Laboratory Manager, you will define qualification plans for employees and coordinate equipment maintenance to uphold cleanliness standards. Additionally, you will play a key role in planning and executing the Cleanliness Concept throughout the factory’s project phases, from strategy development to ramp-up.
This is a flex hybrid work structure, where employees can work both remotely and on-site at our St. Thomas location.
Key Responsibilities
• Leading the technical cleanliness in the Laboratory
• Responsible for technical cleanliness analysis and related work in the Technical Cleanliness Quality
• Define resources for Cleanliness strategy implementation, including equipment, consumables, headcount, and external alternative providers in case is needed, maintain equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards
• Define cleanliness training content and qualification plans for Quality specialists, Front line workers and other areas with regards cleanliness
• Define resources for Cleanliness concept implementation, including equipment, consumables, headcount, and external alternative providers in case is needed.
• Look for new technologies or solutions that support daily basis activities.
• Support in the development and industrialization of analytical methods in order to improve cleanliness indicators
• Communicate and record testing results, communicate findings and risks
What you bring to the Team
Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or related degree
• Experience (2+ years) in Lab cleanliness or cleanliness environment related activities preferably within a lithium-ion battery manufacturing environment, chemical, electronics or pharmaceutical Industries.
• Good knowledge on lithium ion battery, automotive, pharmaceutical or chemical industries.
• Good knowledge on ISO 16232, 14644, IATF 16949, VDA, Customer Specific Requirements and Automotive Quality Core Tools (PPAP, MSA, APQP, SPC, FMEA)
• Good knowledge of Lab analytical instruments, principles and applications (IR, SEM-EDX, ICP-OES, XRF…).
Battery Lithium Production - Laboratory experience 1-3 years in a Leadership role. (Team Lead)
