About Us
The Faculty of Health Sciences is a large, diverse, and comprehensive unit, comprised of seven Schools (Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Communication Sciences and Disorders and Food and Nutritional Sciences), a large Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and four Research Centers. The Faculty has more than 4,000 undergraduate students and more than 900 graduate students (200 PhD students).
Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator will perform a wide range of administrative duties to support a program, research project, department or other business unit. The role will carry out administrative functions, communicate and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts. The Coordinator will anticipate and resolve issues, coordinate projects, and the implementation of administrative systems and procedures. The role will serve as a principal source of information regarding administrative functions, and may monitor budgets and financial processes. The role may be required to provide analysis, information and reports on primary business objectives (e.g. student applications, research funding, budget for event).
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing lead lists and coordinating follow-up communications with prospective students
- Assisting with the planning and execution of the Faculty’s Professional Program Preview Day
- Developing and implementing digital advertisements to promote marketing webinars
- Providing technical support during marketing webinars
Qualifications
Education:
- Undergraduate Degree required
- Undergraduate Degree in Marketing preferred
Experience:
- 1 year of experience as a marketing coordinator or related role required
Skills, Abilities & Expertise:
- Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred
- Ability to foster collaboration and respect among team members
- Communication skills with confidence interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, and in graphic design and video editing
- Ability to apply creativity, innovation and resourcefulness to daily work
- Customer service skills with a desire to achieve results in a professional and timely manner
- Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to create a positive impression while interacting with others and responding to inquiries, by telephone, in person or electronically
- Results-oriented with an ability to handle many tasks and maintain a high level of individual and team performance
