Job Description

We’re looking for a 3D technical artist with a passion for immersive VR gaming and proven experience bridging art and engineering to build optimized shaders and real-time workflows while ensuring visual fidelity and performance of next-generation virtual reality experiences.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Act as a reference for the team in all things related to Technical Art and provide solutions to complex issues

  • Optimize content to improve GPU and memory usage and performance

  • Create complex shaders for Unity RP

  • Contribute to asset development and rendering (models, animations, textures) when needed

  • Stay up to date with current and future graphic software and hardware trends and methodologies

  • Maintain a balance between the project's creative vision and technical constraints

  • Identify potential risks and report them to upper management
     

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid experience as a Technical Artist, ideally on AAA or AA productions, ideally on a virtual reality game

  • You have worked on various world-building topics such as level art, lighting, props, level design, landscapes, water, fog etc.

  • You have strong technical skills in performance, optimization, and workflow

  • You are proficient in graphics debugging and performance analysis tools (Renderdoc, PlayStation tools etc.)

  • You have significant experience with the Unity game engine, specifically the render pipeline and shader graph

  • Experience working with gaze based and fixed foveated rendering is a huge plus

  • Experience in Unity VFX graph is a plus
