In this role you will support insurance new business from reception to final delivery, interacting with advisors and underwriters to service those new application quickly and accurately. We strive for quick turnaround times, case ownership and team collaboration to frequently and consistently identify areas of opportunity and then ensure that those identified opportunities yield positive and rapid change.
What you will do
- Primary point of contact for assigned new business applications for advisors.
- Support and guide advisors and their teams through the new business underwriting cycle by sharing business process knowledge, including legislative requirements.
- Collaborate with underwriting to request and obtain all risk and non risk requirements to complete the underwriting process and issue a policy.
- Accurately review and determine non risk related requirements to process insurance applications.
- Ordering evidence directly from vendors and follow up with vendors to confirm status of outstanding evidence.
- Communicating with advisors and/or back office to obtain requirements.
- Review Forms/signed documents and evidence received to ensure they are in good order.
- Pending Management for efficient time service
- Accurately process applications following the procedure guide and adhere to all new business guidelines.
- Updating the administration systems to ensure the contract accuracy.
What you will bring
- As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (fluent in French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English-speaking needs.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Post secondary diploma and minimum 3 years experience in insurance OR Completion of a university degree.
- Solid understanding of insurance principles and Life insurance product
- Working knowledge of Ingenium, AURA and OnBase systems is an asset.
The base salary for this position is between $57,100 - $85,600 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
