The Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) will assess through direct observation, functional assessment, and skill-acquisition assessments to understand perpetuating factors for behaviours. The BCBA designs, implements, delivers, and evaluates interventions derived from the principles of behaviour to produce meaningful improvements in patients. As part of an interprofessional health care team, the BCBA supports rapid, safe, behaviour stabilization and promotes generalizable skill building to ensure successful implementation for children in home, school, or community settings.

What we offer:
Rate of Pay: $48.19 per hour - $60.23 per hour
Status: Regular Full-time
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications

Successful completion of a Masters Degree in Psychology, Behaviour Analysis, or a related field
Registration as a Behaviour Analyst with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
Minimum one (1) years recent, related job experience
Experience providing behaviour assessments
Experience developing behaviour-change procedures
Knowledge of selection and implementation of behavioural interventions
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
