Reporting to the Director, Market Activation, the Manager, Market Activation is accountable for delivering effective and impactful activation plans for Financial Horizons and Advice Canada, ensuring a cohesive story across all advisor communications. The successful candidate for this role will be a strategic leader who excels at building strong relationships and has a strong track record of developing go to market strategies, executing on engaging communication plans, elevating advisor engagement, and coaching high-performing team.
What you will do
- Develop clear and concise activation plans for initiatives focused on technology, process changes and value proposition enhancements. This work targets a wide range of audiences including advisors, and sales team head office groups.
- As a leader of several Advisor Engagement Specialists you’ll set clear expectations, providing meaningful coaching, training, and feedback, to create a?culture where employees are motivated to do their best and deliver on organizational and?personal goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and Creative Services teams to build and deliver key tactics, communications and collateral pieces across a variety of media
- Partner with the sales team and other engagement teams to ensure adoption and success of new initiatives
- Build partnerships across the organization in ideation, development, and implementation of?strategies to improve the way we communicate to advisors. Advocate for the advisor?perspective.
- Define customed approaches to key audiences, both internally and externally, ensuring that strategies and approaches align with the distinct needs and expectations of advisors, but with an eye to effectiveness and efficiency across the channels
What you will bring
- 8+ years of marketing & communications financial services experience, ideally in insurance and/or wealth distribution
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership on the development and communication of large-scale strategies and transformation
- Exceptional messaging skills; develops effective messages and materials that tell compelling stories
- Track record of collaboration and influence while working in cross corporate teams, ability to resolve tensions and work cross functionally
- Structured and analytical planning approach, designs appropriate work-back schedules to drive effective implementation
- Post Seconday education in Marketing, Communications, Administration, or equivalent experience

The base salary for this position is between $90,400 - $140,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
