About the Role
McLean & Company is looking for a strategic, hands-on Marketing Manager to help strengthen customer relationships and drive engagement across our member base. You will own the planning and execution of integrated campaigns that promote research releases, product launches, and events, so members actively use the content, products, and services they've invested in. The goal is to increase engagement, improve the member experience, and support renewals.
This is an individual contributor role with a broad mandate. You'll work closely with the Marketing Director to shape engagement strategy, then own the execution, measurement, and optimization of the programs that bring it to life. You'll partner with research, sales, content, design, social, and PR to make sure the right content reaches the right members at the right time.

- Build and maintain a communication calendar aligned with PR, social, sales, research, and other channels
Email and lifecycle marketing
- Manage email strategy, including audience segmentation, campaign goals, send frequency, and timing
- Build, QA, and schedule member emails, partnering with content marketing to reflect McLean's brand voice
- Optimize deliverability and maintain database hygiene to maximize reach
- Run A/B tests and use the results to improve performance
Customer Insight and personalization
- Contribute to customer personas and journeys, and create targeted resources that guide members to relevant research and services based on behavior and engagement patterns
- Use customer intelligence data to identify trends, inform engagement strategies, and recommend new initiatives
Events
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns for webinars and in-person events across email, web, social, and PR
- Create campaign briefs and communication plans for each event type, working with sales, research, events, and design
- Drive registrants, leads, and appointments from events, and help maintain the events calendar
Measurement and reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign and engagement performance, with clear insights and recommendations
- Contribute to a KPI framework that benchmarks success and drives continuous improvement
Cross-functional collaboration
- Build strong working relationships with research, sales, content, design, events and other teams for a seamless member journey
- Work with sales enablement to keep the sales team informed of upcoming campaigns
What You Bring
