As a Business Intelligence Analyst on the Default Solutions team you will be responsible for collecting, cleansing, and analyzing data from a multitude of proprietary and public sources. You will use the insights gleaned from those activities to support our product, operations, and business development teams in advancing our position as an industry leader in collections, recovery, and insolvency management. Your experience interpreting and connecting data to the underlying business practices will support you in communicating that data to stakeholders – both internal and external – in clear, concise, and relevant ways. As a member of a small team of dedicated business intelligence and product professionals, you will play an integral role in forming the future of the division – a very bright future and an exciting opportunity!
 

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Compile and interpret data from various sources;
  • Identify and analyze trends;
  • Prepare reports for customers and stakeholders as required;
  • Support the product team by providing data-based input and guidance on strategy;
  • Participate in projects as the data expert;
  • Produce data visualizations to clearly and concisely support your findings;

 

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:  

  • Mastery of SQL, Excel (specifically data analysis aspects);
  • Experience with MicroStrategy;
  • Experience communicating and working with all levels of the organization;
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry, particularly secured and unsecured lending;
  • Familiarity with R an asset;
  • Familiarity with software programming languages an asset;
