Job Description

 

Title: Digital Media Planner

Location: Remote Canada

Reports to: Supervisor- Ad Operations

 

The Role: 

In this role, you are responsible for working directly with internal teams, ad platforms and other partners to plan, buy, traffic, and optimize online advertising and social media campaigns.  You are expected to manage multiple projects, be extremely detail orientated, and thrive in a fast-paced, data driven environment.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing  and executing  online advertising and social media campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, DV360, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc)
  • Monitor status, pacing and campaign performance. Provide qualitative and quantitative insights to help influence improved performance. 
  • Optimize campaign tactics to achieve overall goals & KPI’s. 
  • Provide media planning estimates for internal teams. 
  • Serve as SME for our core tools and provide insights to other team members. 
  • Utilize internal tools to track priorities in a high scale environment.
  • Research current platform and online advertising trends providing thought leadership for internal and external teams. 

 

Expected Knowledge and skills

  • One plus years of related experience
  • 4 years degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field or related experience
  • Knowledge in all major advertising platforms (Google Marketing Platform, Facebook, etc).
  • Familiarity with tracking and conversion pixels and trafficking ad tags using DCM and other tools. 
  • Thorough understanding of campaign targeting strategies.
  • Expert level knowledge in Office Suite tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills that allow for success in balancing tight deadlines and challenges.
