Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist 

Position Summary

The People Operations team is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team! The ideal candidate is passionate about their career, a super networker, and understands how to identify and engage strong talent. 

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with key stakeholders and business leaders to identify and understand their needs to create competitive Talent Acquisition strategies, programs, and plans as well as leading the execution of hiring talent. 


 Essential Responsibilities:

  • Own the full recruitment life cycle including recruiting support, sourcing, resume screening, interview scheduling, offer extension, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team and Hiring Managers to develop role requirements, job postings, and hiring strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth intake meetings; understand role objectives, targeted profiles and behaviours, and job requirements. 
  • Identify, engage, and recruit top-tier talent. 
  • Source candidates from job sites and candidate databases.
  • Strong ability to headhunt targeted profiles.
  • Managing requisitions and candidates using our ATS.
  • Act as a TA ambassador building the talent brand through social media, events, and school partnerships.
  • Attend job fairs, and other events to connect with candidates.
  • Maintain and nurture a pipeline of current and past candidates.
  • Manage, analyze, and share talent acquisition data and status updates on requisitions.
  • Maintain and deliver onboarding sessions.
  • Identify new and innovative ways of working and improving the function.
  • Support other People Operations projects as needed.

 

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Fluent in French (Speaking/Writing) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Persuasive & charismatic
  • High energy
  • Highly organized
  • Fast learner
  • Understanding of recruitment principles and best practices
  • Experience in technical recruitment 
  • Excellent in 1 to 1 communication
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Several years of experience in a similar role 
  • Socially savvy, particularly on LinkedIn is a bonus
