Department Overview

Building a World-Class, Diverse and Inclusive Technology Team at TD The Fraud Technology Solutions team, part of Protect Platform (Enterprise Protect), is responsible for protecting the Bank, customers and employees by delivering and supporting technology to analyze detect and prevent transactional fraud against TD customers and critical TD technology assets. What We Stand For: Fraud Technology Solutions is continuously evolving to mitigate fraud risk to the Bank, including introducing new initiatives in support of advancing TD’s data analytics strategy to predict and prevent fraud.

 

Job Description

  • Responsible for incident management (3rd level), monthly and SLA maintenance, activities;
  • Perform controlled resolution of escalated L3-level incidents and problems including prioritization and escalation,
  • liaising with business and technology partners as appropriate;
  • Perform incident management role (communicator, tracker, escalator, driver, etc.) for outages; communicate to clients during service outages;
  • Provide effective day-to-day production support for applications through accurate problem identification and timely resolution of production issues;
  • Ensure timely notification and escalation of issues/problems, and recommendations for prompt resolution; communicate incident/problem status and provide timely escalation of issues to ensure established SLAs and MTTRs are met;
  • Deliver effective support (application and operations), researching system issues, overseeing the execution of recommendations, and maintaining accurate documentation;
  • Schedule changes to supported components in accordance with approved change management procedures, ensuring effective change management discipline is use; and
  • Adhere to existing processes/standards, business technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines; monitor and escalate issues as required.

Requirements

  • Must be prepared to work in a 24/7 on-call rotational environment;
  • Relevant experience in a technology operations or application management role is a definite asset;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
  • Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work;
  • Knowledge in any one or more of the following technology skillsets is a definite asset: – MS SQL Server (2012+) – Autosys / SSIS/SSRS – C# / .Net / ASP.Net / MVC Razor – Advanced Java (Spring Framework / Maven Build) – Windows and Linux operating systems – WebServices/RESTful API is an asset Kafka – Jboss server Structure and CLI Command (Basic) – Azure Services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal to communicate complex issues in easily understandable terms;
  • Self-starter with a high initiative and the ability to learn and adapt quickly;
  • Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with emerging industry trends, new technologies and best practices in the external market that can contribute to delivering effective client solutions;
  • A willingness to speak up and offer a differing opinion when your gut tells you an idea is wrong – but also have the forethought to be part of the solution by recommending an alternate option; and · Apply good judgment by understanding which issues to escalate, what to resolve independently, and provide suggestions for possible resolution.
