The question is: Are you in?

At Trackunit, we put our customers first! Come make a difference in a fast-growing innovative and fun Product Management team that combines a startup atmosphere with a global industry-leading product portfolio. You’ll be part of building the future of Trackunit’s product ecosystem.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work across teams and departments to guide products from research over idea to launch by connecting the customer-, technical- and business worlds. You’ll break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at the speed of light.

You will play a key role in inspiring today’s industrial digital transformation and drive the industry to revamp its businesses with strategic, powerful solutions. You will create transformational roadmaps and lead our organization through the product lifecycle.

We offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from home and our locations in Kitchener and London, Ontario.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Own the research, ideation, development, launch, and improvement of software capabilities with your team, with the goal to create a strong outcome for our customers, our business, and the industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to get new capabilities shaped and shipped.
  • Define and analyze success metrics of launches based on the desired outcomes to learn what worked and what didn’t.
  • Work collaboratively with our Product Marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies, core messaging, and enablement tools to support internally and externally.
  • Contribute to the shared vision of the Trackunit product ecosystem and drive consensus on priorities leading to product execution.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for your product areas and thereby facilitate product evangelism to ensure widespread adoption of our products.
  • Involve and inform key stakeholders to facilitate the change towards a product-led organisation.

Who are you ideally?

  • You are passionate to deliver products at the right time while delivering value digitally that drives strong outcomes and an exceptional customer experience.
  • You know what great software products look and feel like
  • You are energized by lean start-up principles and design approaches
  • You have a strong business acumen
  • Experience conducting user research, mapping opportunities, and developing concepts
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Excellent communicator
  • Open-minded team player with a ‘get things done’ mindset
  • Great people skills
  • Experience from a Product Management-like role is a plus

Don't meet every single requirement? No worries - this is what we're looking for ideally, but if you're super excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply.

What’s in it for you?

  • A place in an agile growth SaaS business, with possibilities to grow internally in the company. We are moving fast, so fasten your seat belt and prepare to be adaptable. Back in 2020 we were 150 employees at Trackunit.
  • Great development opportunities through i.e. training, coaching, and mindfulness. We know that personal and professional development probably means a lot to you. It’s a shared responsibility and that’s as important to us. We facilitate it through impact conversations, where we together shape a learning path every quarter.
  • International environment with regular check-ins with the whole company.
  • Social events across teams, departments and borders.
  • We are on the journey towards eliminating downtime, all together – and all our colleagues that are a part of Trackunit are acknowledged and a huge part of reaching our goals. Because of that, we offer you to be part of our long-term incentive program at Trackunit.

Our hiring process

  • Virtual meet and greet with the Head of Product Management in North America and a colleague from our People & Talent team.
  • Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the work tasks related to the role, so you will be given a case to prepare after the initial screening interview. You will present the case to colleagues from across Trackunit.
  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. There is no correct answers and we are not trying to categorize you - the aim is a dialogue about the results and Trackunit’s culture.
  • Offer presentation and walk-through. We’re lucky to have you!

A scale-up with a start-up mentality

We perform at our best in an agile and autonomous environment where we influence our own development and technological development. We embrace the idea of working remotely and in the environments that optimizes your work in the best way. In many ways Trackunit act as a startup company with short communication lines and plenty of room for the employees to influence their job and responsibilities. You’ll be working in a rapidly growing international company with a culture reflecting the fun, informal, and innovative approach towards all of us being people.

Trackunit – challenging the status quo to eliminate downtime

Trackunit is a fast-growing company and a leading supplier of IoT solutions, operating out of eight offices worldwide. Trackunit specializes in digital solutions that connect machines, people, and systems in the global construction industry. The construction industry is the least digitalized industry of all. This lack of digitalization has left construction far behind a global economy on the rise and placed the industry as one of the least productive industries too.

That’s why we challenge the status quo in the way we collect, analyze and present data in real-time to deliver actionable insights – empowering our customers with data to run their businesses better – and take one step closer to the elimination of downtime.
