Job Description
Software Engineer
Be a key player in a team building products you can be proud of. Our products support worldwide medical research projects for patients suffering from cancer, chronic diseases and rare diseases. We currently have 2 openings for software engineers to help us expand our leading-edge multitenant SaaS medical research platform on the AWS cloud.
Skills and Technical Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of software development in agile (Kanban or Scrum) teams
- Excellent design and coding skills in 2 of these languages: Javascript, Python or Java
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, especially Jira and BitBucket (Git)
- Desirable Experience:
- Linux, CICD and DevOps in the Amazon AWS cloud
- Developing AngularJS single page applications
- JSON, micro-services and serverless technologies
- Demonstrated understanding of security best practices and HIPAA/GDPR privacy rules and requirements
- Experience with data management/analytics platforms and software test automation practices is a plus
General Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
- Cultural fit: team player, professional maturity and discretion (patent pending technology, NDA required), self-sufficiency, able to learn quickly in highly technical environment
- Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, BioTech etc. industries is a plus
Education: Computer Science or equivalent experience
