Job Description
Join our Marketing and Communications team as a Senior Marketing Specialist, Insurance. In this individual contributor role, you will work with the Marketing & Communications team and key Insurance Solutions and Distribution partners to elevate our marketing efforts. This role is responsible for developing and deploying insurance go-to-market strategies and tactics that align with our business and marketing objectives, weaving in our brand voice to put the customer at the centre of all we do.
What you will do:
- Create high-quality marketing briefs and ensure successful go-to-market launches.
- Lead marketing initiatives and campaigns from start to finish.
- Use data and competitive intelligence to validate target segments.
- Integrate customer and advisor needs into marketing plans.
- Create engaging content and messaging for customer-facing materials.
- Market our products to resonate with target audiences.
- Deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Participate in Marketing Rallies and lead working group meetings.
- Ensure tasks and actions are updated in Marketing project management software and seek opportunities to suggest process improvement.
- Complete closeout sessions with working group and leaders to collect feedback on large initiatives to report on success results and learnings.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong brand and marketing experience with both digital and traditional marketing elements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience leading and working through cross-functional teams.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify insights and opportunities.
- Proven project management skills.
- Flexibility to be in office 3 days a week at one of the Canada Life main campuses.

The base salary for this position is between $63,500- $117,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
