As a Product Specialist, you will be joining the Default Solutions Product Management Team. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information in support of our product roadmap and strategy, exploring opportunities to expand our business and improve upon our stellar customer satisfaction and market position. You will be a key contributor to multiple concurrent projects, engaging and coordinating with many different internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.


HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Liaise with stakeholders within all aspects of the operation, including internal and external partners, vendors, and customers, to identify, evaluate, and polish opportunities;
  • Develop business cases for product enhancements that include various different aspects – including the technical, financial, and operational impact assessment;
  • Present business cases to the leadership team for evaluation and selection;
  • Participate in the effective and efficient delivery of projects as the product lead, providing overall prioritization and strategic direction to all members of project teams – including software development teams;
  • Challenge assumptions, promote an excellent client experience, implement best practices, and strive to both deliver upon and improve the product;
  • Serve as business support in strategic business and/or system related change management or product development; always advocating for the client and business operations
  • Think creatively developing new ways to provide value added services for our clients
  • Leverage common services across multiple lines of business and clients

  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial services and their delivery to the consumer;
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence those in all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment, display a high professional manner along with sound judgment and decision making skills
  • Well-developed strategic thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to connect business through technology while understanding and managing risk
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Excel).
