Research Agenda & Product Management - Product Manager
 

We are seeking an experienced product manager with experience in product management and a demonstrated track record in launching and managing digital and/or knowledge-based products. The ideal candidate will have previous product management experience in a high growth knowledge-based and/or technology company.

As a Product Manager you will act as a key founding team member in our Product function alongside our Sr. Product Director, VP of Product and Chief Product Officer. You will be an integral part of further developing our product culture, supporting the build and execution of a comprehensive and state-of-the-art product philosophy and methodology. You will work directly on a comprehensive product diagnostic, supporting our product vision and strategy and contributing to our overall product roadmap.

As part of the core product team establishing a new product center of excellence, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of our clients, team members, our firm, industries and the IT practice. You will directly support and enable how products and services are designed, delivered, and managed as a best practice within the company. You will take responsibility supporting our broad and diverse product portfolio of several dozen products, and support key new product launches every year that will further fuel our hypergrowth.

Our firm has a long track record of creating many opportunities for successful performers, so there are several potential opportunities beyond this role in the mid- to long-term.

Responsibilities:

  • Product diagnostic: Execute and support a comprehensive product diagnostic across our entire firm and affiliated companies.
  • Product design: Work alongside key research and product development team members to deliver products, while maintaining the right balance between quick iterative wins, longer-term structural improvements, and executing on against an evolving product roadmap.
  • Product reviews: Work with various internal partners to review our product portfolio and pivot in scenarios of any underperformance.
  • Customer Voice: Nurture an ongoing relationship with key/strategic customers and partners to ensure that we support them to the best of our abilities.
  • Product launches: Drive and support several product launches per year. Act as a product expert and thought leader for the key products under your purview to all our divisions and support functions to launch products successfully.
  • Product support: Work closely with marketing and support teams to best equip those teams for new product releases.
  • Evangelizing: Be a product evangelist across our entire firm, our clients and across the IT practice. Further expand our product culture.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in product management, product marketing, consulting or a technology-related field.
  • Ideal candidate has experience in product management in a knowledge-based and/or technology company.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Experience with end-to-end B2B product delivery, supporting roadmaps, strategy and definition.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects.
  • A highly collaborative style and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, with a proven ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • An obsession with customer problems and developing solutions.
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience training internal teams as part of bringing products to market, particularly the sales, support and customer success teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in highly flexible, rapidly changing, ambiguous work environment.
