Position Purpose:
Info-Tech Research Group is seeking a Bids & Contracts Manager to join its Bids & Contracts team. This role supports public sector sales efforts and is responsible for managing the complete bids and contracts process. A strong background in managing bids for Digital/Digital Services, including IT, Education, Research, teaching, or HR, is highly valued. This is a “Service First” focused position.
This position provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with an encouraging team and supportive leadership.
As Bids & Contracts Manager, you will collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including external clients, managing partners, legal counsel, and bid managers, to deliver successful bids and proposals. In addition to managing and working with existing public sector contracts, you will proactively research and identify new contract vehicles to pursue and apply for. The role offers new and varied challenges each day, making it ideal for someone who excels in a diverse, engaging workplace and thrives under pressure.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing the full life cycle of public sector bids and proposals, demonstrating quick learning, initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and strong English communication skills (both written and verbal). Exceptional time management, effective prioritization, organizational acumen, and a clear grasp of processes and hierarchies are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to research bids and for both Info-Tech (IT) and sub-division McLean (HR).
- Project management: Manage the entire bid life cycle including identifying requirements, preparing detailed proposals, working with sales and legal to meet requirements, submitting responses, and overseeing post-submission activities to ensure successful outcomes.
- Daily tasks - Search Bid sites and bid emails, evaluating those that are in-scope to our services.
- Ongoing tasks - Collaborate with Sales, Global Services and Research Teams to develop content for bid responses and sales cycles. Professional writing skills are mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and responding to public sector procurement documents including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and tender submissions, ensuring compliance with all mandatory requirements.
- Responsible for helping build proposal collateral and sales collateral within the bids & contracts resource center (intranet) both independently and with marketing, products, legal, finance, design, and other team members.
- Ensure all bid submissions meet compliance requirements, including formatting, documentation, contractual obligations, and submission deadlines.

- Experience in building bids for the public sector.
- Familiarity with structured proposal management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to think critically and thoroughly problem-solve complex situations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to be proactive and follow through independently and within teams.
- Superior communication skills (verbal, written, and reading).
- Professional and dependable with a strict adherence to client and company confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work to achieve deadlines.
- Salesforce experience is an asset; however, the willingness to learn CRM software is essential.
- Ability to leverage artificial intelligence for document automation, proposal generation, and workflow optimization, including familiarity with common AI applications for business operations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams.
- Positive attitude – a sense of humour is welcomed.
