Position Overview

As an Account Executive you will be responsible as part of the sales team to reach the company's overarching sales goals. Day to day, you will be responsible for prospecting, obtaining the needs of the prospects, presenting solutions, and negotiating pricing. It is vital that the Account Executive provides visibility to the leadership team via proper Salesforce hygiene. This position requires travel, both domestically and internationally.
This position is open to internal and external candidates.

Product Line 

This role will be working with the Race Roster product. 

Work Location

The successful candidate for this role can be either a satellite employee (working 100% remotely from a designated location within Canada or US), a hybrid employee (flexibility to work in the office or from home at a location within 75km/75 miles from the London, ON/Boston, MA office), an in office employee at our London, ON/Boston, MA office.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full sales cycle – prospecting to close through Salesforce CRM
  • Proactively conducting outbound calls from a curated list of targeted leads
  • Developing sales opportunities through strategic follow up techniques
  • Present thoughtful solutions autonomously to prospects
  • Reach and/or exceed sales quota to be defined by the sales leadership team
  • Communicating current and potential opportunities to sales leadership team 
  • Collaborating with internal sales team ie. Business Development Representatives, Solutions Engineer, Customer Success Managers
  • Meaningfully participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives across the ASICS Apps teams 

Education & Experience

  • 3+ years sales experience 
  • Hunter mentality – motivated by closing deals, driven for results
  • Self-starter – motivated to exceeding sales KPI’s, resilient and disciplined  
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Coachable – ability to embrace learning new skills and ideas
  • Strong organization and data management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Salesforce experience preferred

Bonus Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate is preferred
  • Proficiency in other languages is a bonus
  • Relevent industry experience

Performance Measures

  • Ability to seek out prospects
  • Success rate of closing inbound and outbound leads 
  • Hitting and exceeding quota requirements
  • Efficient use of time and resources
  • Continuously learning and improving in your role and technical skills within the platform
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees at all levels of the organization
 
The successful candidate for this role will become an employee of Race Roster North America Corporation (doing business as ASICS Apps Canada), a subsidiary of ASICS Corporation, a Japanese multinational corporation. Race Roster was founded in London, Ontario in 2011.
