Quality Assurance Specialist

Race Roster is an online event registration platform geared towards endurance events. We’re looking for a software tester/ quality assurance specialist to help us continue building Race Roster to be the top registration platform in the endurance industry. You’ll be joining the most collaborative team you’ve ever experienced, which will hopefully lead you to the best work of your life. You will become an integral part of our team, working with client services, support, development and product management to ensure that our platform conforms to business requirements.

What you’ll be doing

• Test new features for conformity to requirements
• Identify, analyze and document defects—suggesting solutions if possible
• Contribute to product development discussions
• Develop and document integrated test plans
• Create written and video documentation targeted towards our clients and client services

What we’re looking for

• 1+ years of web development or quality assurance experience
• Experience with virtualization environments
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of web software technology in order to correctly identify issues through testing
• Ability to work in a team and independently on assigned tasks
• Ability to prioritize incoming tasks
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to speak in front of groups, to hold meetings with team members as well as provide presentations to upper management
• Good problem solving skills

• Git
• Basic video editing understanding
• PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS knowledge
