Director of Finance and Administration
 

ZTR is looking for an inspiring and adaptable Senior Leader to join our Corporate Services Division in the role of Director of Finance and Administration. In this role, you will lead the Finance and IT departments, and the administrative and corporate affairs of the organization.

Within the ZTR IIoT Division, a global high-tech team develops new and innovative SaaS telematics solutions for off-road industrial equipment markets and the ZTR Rail Division designs sophisticated products and solutions aimed at improving the performance and reliability of aging locomotives; namely, locomotive modernization.

 

We are a global organization headquartered in London, Ontario with offices in Kitchener, Ontario, the United States, and the Netherlands and are continuing to expand across EMEA and APEC. 

 
As a Director of Finance and Administration, you will:  

  • Lead, mentor and grow the Finance, IT, and corporate affairs functions.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the business strategies and operations for the Corporate Services Division.
  • Establish and maintain IT infrastructure, applications, security, and ERP systems, policies and procedures.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains procedures to improve efficiency of financial functions and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Ensure the Company complies and adheres to internal and external accounting principles, regulations and requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction for the Finance and IT functions as we continue to grow globally.
  • Manage the Corporate Services Division’s budget.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business field or technical field
  • MBA is highly preferred
  • CPA or other professional accounting designation
  • 10+ years of strategic, financial and operational management experience
  • Knowledge and experience with I.T. infrastructure, information systems and applications, as well as reporting systems
  • Proven leadership skills – positive attitude, inspiring, persuasive, innovative, encouraging and motivating
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to detail
  • Demonstrated professional relationship building skills
  • Strong communication skills are required as this individual will need to be able to work with various staff levels and internal and external stakeholders
  • Skilled in change management practices and driving organizational process improvements
  • Ability to work under pressure with little direction
  • Experience with legal contracts, agreements, etc.
