Responsibilities

Responsible for conceptualizing, writing, editing, and proofing copy for full funnel marketing assets and custom client deliverables ranging from thought leadership to how-to content, blog posts and articles, white papers and guides, video testimonials and presentations, web content, case studies, and more

Develop and execute editorial calendar and integrated multi-channel campaigns to attract and engage target customer segments, drive website traffic, and continuously refine the demand generation strategy

Analyze and define audience and business needs through gathering feedback from the market, prospects, and customers to build content strategies that address buyer persona pain points, needs and buying criteria

Analyze SoftwareReviews’ in-depth buyer and market data and use it to author timely content on software buying trends, top software features and capabilities across B2B enterprise software markets and industries, and role-based purchase priorities across marketing, sales, and customer experience

Be the champion of buyer personas across marketing, product management, customer experience and sales to improve the buyer experience, navigation, discoverability, and value of our content

Collaborate with marketing, sales, sales development, sales/marketing operations, and product teams on content, scheduling, kick-offs, and retrospectives relating to campaign plans

Understand and apply levers to optimize traffic and demand across the funnel and drive market awareness, education, conversion, and adoption

In collaboration with marketing operations, develop and maintain a campaign measurement framework to demonstrate campaign results and show marketing contribution to pipeline, bookings, and revenue

Develop testing strategy across copy, channels and creative to improve engagement, SEO, campaign performance, and conversion continuously.

Location- 100% Remote (work anywhere in Canada)

Experience & Education

  • 5 years of experience in content marketing, product marketing, professional writing/editing, ideally within a B2B context across full-funnel initiatives
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Creative Writing or Journalism preferred
  • Experience marketing to high tech marketers preferred, and in the enterprise software / SaaS space a plus
  • Demonstrated content writing, storytelling, and SEO experience optimizing content
  • Deeply understands the modern go-to-market landscape, including people, process, and technology/software practices of leading organizations
  • Proficiency in audience segmentation and targeting strategy
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and extracting insights to develop engaging content and marketing stories
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and influence partners across the business
  • Ability to create and manage detailed project plans and drive on-time execution
  • Strong communication skills, data-driven mindset, and a proactive attitude
  • Experience with leveraging marketing automation to deliver on campaign goals and pipeline creation. Familiarity with Marketo a plus.
  • Experience with reporting on campaign and program performance and providing insights and recommendations
