Sr Reporting & Financial Analyst
 

The Sr. Reporting & Financial Analyst will work in a small but data savvy development team to help transform the way we develop business intelligence and insights. You will contribute to the development of modern tools and techniques that will drive effective and informed decisions; you will work closely with Sr. Analysts of the team as well as data and tech partners to transform high level business requirements into measurable data solutions.

 

What you will do

  • Work extensively on data visualization and process automation projects using Power BI as the primary tool
  • Help your team to develop, modernize and transform Business Intelligence solutions and analytical dashboards for Individual Wealth & Insurance Solutions and Advisory Network to communicate insights and drive informed decisions
  • Work closely with data and tech partners to transform high level business requirements into measurable solutions
  • Work directly with business partners, including senior leaders to understand their needs and develop meaningful tools to help them run their business.
  • Challenge status quo, identify and apply the appropriate analytic approach to meet reporting and analysis needs
  • Work in a small and fast paced team
  • Learn and master new analytic tools on the go

 

 What you will bring

  • A creative mindset focused on improvement and the ability to utilize and implement best practices
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or technology development
  • Quick learner, willing to go the extra miles
  • Extensive knowledge and working experience of Power BI, certifications such as PL300 from Microsoft is strong asset
  • Good working knowledge of Databricks (SQL), Power Platform and other data analytical tools is valuable asset
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships; ability to communicate technical information to business users
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in business or computer science or an equivalent combination of training and experience

 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London and Toronto.

The base salary for this position is between  $54,300 - $95,200 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
