The Salesforce Analyst will configure and maintain the Salesforce.com application for Info-Tech Research Group to ensure continued delivery of innovative, high quality solutions to meet business needs for those departments currently using Salesforce.com. Working on the Sales Operations team as a Salesforce.com Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver complete solutions to internal clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Work with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for Salesforce and related systems.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements for technical implementation.

 

2. Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with the technical team to design and propose solutions that leverage the capabilities of Salesforce to meet business requirements.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and wireframes. 

 

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with business users, system administrators, project managers, and developers to identify risk, address questions, resolve issues, and drive successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and deployment teams to ensure accurate implementation of designed solutions.
  • Participate as active member of scrum team and in all Agile ceremonies.
  • Develop and execute test plans to to validate that Salesforce solutions meet specified requirements, and troubleshoot issues during testing and user acceptance phases.

 

4. Training and Support:

  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Salesforce solutions.
  • Assist in the creation of user documentation and training materials.

 

5. Salesforce Administration

  • Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain reports & dashboards to improve system usability.
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, and approval processes.
  • Perform data integrity and manipulation tasks such as merging duplicate records and establishing proper ownership of existing accounts and contacts in accordance with sales territories.
  • Maintain users, roles, profiles, security settings, access settings, and sharing rules.
  • Research changes in upcoming releases of Salesforce.com and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, and data integrity.

 

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.?
  • Salesforce certification required.

 

Experience and Skills

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Salesforce implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills to build trust and interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a customer first mind-set.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Critical thinker able to evaluate situations objectively, consider different perspectives, and make informed decisions.
  • User-centered approach to design of solutions.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Flexibility and resilience when working with changing priorities within the business.
  • Effective time management capabilities to balance multiple projects with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate Excel knowledge.
