Automotive Account Analyst, Canada
The Role:
As an analyst in J.D. Power’s Automotive Retail practice, you will leverage your skill sets to support proprietary and syndicated research and consulting projects, produce client deliverables, and provide strong analytical support. The ideal candidate possesses an aptitude for interpreting and processing data and demonstrates an ability to succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. This role will also work closely with J.D. Power’s digital retail practice, supporting the production of analysis for automotive clients across North America
While the position reports to a specific manager, the ideal candidate will be expected to thrive while working across projects within a matrix organizational structure.
The Impact
You will work directly with large automotive manufacturers—who maintain some of the biggest retail brands in the world— to help them make better data-driven decisions for their business, as well as various other internal and external business partners and entities.
Responsibilities
- Produce and validate client deliverables, with proficiency in:
- Excel, mTAB, and SPSS for data analysis and validation
- PowerPoint for deliverable formatting/finalization
- Identify opportunities to improve analytical quality of deliverables and presentations provided to clients
- Interface with research production team and other internal/external partners for select client deliverables
- Provide strong analytical support to clients and assist with client ad hoc requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university
- 2+ years of data processing/analysis, market research or similar experience, preferably within the automotive industry
- Demonstrated experience using Excel, mTAB, SPSS and PowerPoint
- Experience with Palantir Foundry a plus
- Demonstrated client relationship management skills
- Commitment to excellence in deliverable quality and passion for client satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with active collaboration among team members and external business partners

The Team / The Business:
J.D. Power’s Automotive Retail practice is a mission-critical component of the company, responsible for industry-leading Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) and Customer Service Index (CSI) StudiesSM, along with numerous client projects and other J.D. Power research studies. This role will also support J.D. Power’s digital retail practice, working closely with clients across North America to adapt to the changing technological landscape.
