The Corporate Solutions team works in partnership with the corporate service areas of the organization, providing them with technology support, service and expertise. These areas include Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, Procurement & Logistics, Food Services, Risk Management and Communications.

 

Accountable to the Coordinator, Corporate Solutions, the Software Analyst will play a key technical role in project and operational support, both for the evaluation and development of new systems as well as upgrades and maintenance of existing applications. The successful applicant will apply their knowledge and experience in analyzing client requirements and transforming them into tangible results by recommending technical solutions. They will also be involved in the detailed design and development of system interfaces.

 

The Software Analyst will be part of a team responsible for application design, development, implementation and support for critical business applications. This role will focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems focusing on human resources, supply chain, financial, and business intelligence systems. Their technical skills will be used for implementing new applications, software upgrades, and providing operational support to maintain service on current applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting and maintaining a supply chain management system while also working in applying system level changes to enhance technical or application processes.

Rate of pay:                  $44.33 per hour - $55.40 per hour

 

Hours of Work:              37.5 hours per week

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Successful completion of a two (2) year certificate or diploma in Computer Science or as acceptable by the hospital
  • Four (4) year Computer Science Degree preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years' technical work experience supporting, maintaining, upgrading, and enhancing on-premises ERP Systems (IE Oracle, SAP)
  • Experience supporting and working exclusively with supply chain and financial applications\modules preferred
  • Nice to have experience working with business intelligence systems (Oracle Analytics, Microsoft PowerBI)
  • Excellent scripting skills with experience working with one or more of SQL and\or PERL
  • Application programming experience with knowledge in ASP.NET, JAVA, and\or PHP
  • Advanced understanding and experience working with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server(preferred)
  • Good understanding of Linux and\or Windows Server (preferred) administration
  • Excellent skills with productivity tools (Microsoft 365)
  • Knowledgeable on source code management (GIT)
  • Knowledge of system integration and writing application interfaces, including data mapping
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong QA and testing methodology with attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and meeting strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting technical details to broad audiences
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and ability to manage change
  • Overtime and possible on-call coverage may be required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
