Job Summary:

We are embarking on an enhanced journey to implement a digital product strategy to support customer connectivity and value creation for our UV systems business and the Director of Digital Solutions will be the Captain! This role will contribute to service growth, increased customer intimacy and digital product development to increase growth and profitability of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build the digital team from the ground up including support from Software, Business Development, IT, Data Analytics, etc. and create an inclusive, successful environment where people can thrive and where fail fast and learn is encouraged!
  • Design customer centric digital solutions, with a focus on improving hardware harmonies to build customer value and expand the service value over the life cycle of our UV equipment
  • Function as a project manager to ensure that short and long-term achievements are reached by putting in place counter measures when off-track

 

Relationships:

  • Sales and service leaders across various verticals and geographies
  • Strategic Marketing and UV Equipment Product Management teams
  • Lead a digital team (Software, Commercial (BDM), IT support (TAC), Data Analytics) of cross functional fields including hardware/software R&D, IT support, data analysts and business development
  • Product management collaboration / alignment including field service for product execution.

  • Commercial financial goal achievement including connections, adoption and growth
  • Product Roadmap OTD achievement and technology sustainability
  • Grow # of connected systems < 100 to ~500 within 24 months
  • Define and implement product strategy to cascade digital into the mainstream for system sales and to enable improved service strategies
  • Increase # of service contracts in NA via increased performance using digital insights

 

Qualifications:

  • Business or Engineering degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Experience implementing a digital solution strategy within a large B2B organization, specifically in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with products that involve both hardware and software
  • Leadership, organizational and process implementation skills
  • Commercial, Business Development related experience
