Position Summary

Perform functional testing and electrical wiring/assembly in order to meet customer quality and delivery expectations

 

Accountabilities

  • Complete functional inspection of all assemblies which includes: wire power and control connections, configure customer specific settings, perform diagnostic routines and functional test sequences

  • Troubleshoot functional issues and determine corrective actions

  • Assist in defining test protocols and methods within all areas of manufacturing and their associated hardware/software

  • Complete and maintain test records

  • Meet daily delivery targets

  • Document and communicate non-conformances both internally and externally

  • Perform other tasks when requested by leader

 

Measures Of Performance

  • Quality Improvement Targets –call-tickets (customer complaints)

  • Productivity – meet daily production targets

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Electrical/Electronic Technician or Technologist Diploma

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics/diagrams

  • Experience operating/testing control panels (with PLC/embedded controls)

  • Experience with regulatory codes (UL508A, CSA, NEC and CE)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
