As a Full Stack Developer you will be a part of the Internal Applications Development team. The IA Development team has responsibility for developing and supporting over 30 critical business applications in areas like Finance, Product Usage, and more.
As a Full Stack Developer you will:
- Work in a dynamic, agile, team environment developing exciting new applications
- Participate in design decisions, including new technology research and prototyping
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, architects, cloud engineers, support teams and other stakeholders
- Innovate new ideas to evolve our applications and processes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, Golang, Python or C# (we primarily use Java)
- Experience with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with back-end frameworks such as Spring, Express, or Django (we primarily use Spring Boot)
- Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular or Vue.js (we primarily use React)
- Experience building webservices and API’s using REST or GraphQL
- Experience with Relational and/or NoSQL databases
Things that will help make you successful, but are not required:
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit, Spock, or Jest
- Experience with building applications in AWS or other cloud providers
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines and tools
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Cloudformation or Terraform
Note: The summer 4-day work week is a test program in 2021 and not guaranteed in future years.
