Electrical Test Technician

About the Electrical Test Technician role:

In this role, you will perform functional testing and electrical wiring and assembly to meet customer quality and delivery expectations.

• Complete functional inspection of all assemblies including wire power and control connections, configure customer-specific settings, perform diagnostic routines and functional test sequences

• Troubleshoot functional issues and determine corrective actions

• Assist in defining test protocols and methods within all areas of manufacturing and their associated hardware/software

• Complete and maintain test records

• Meet daily delivery targets

• Document and communicate non-conformances both internally and externally

Are you qualified?

• Electrical/Electronic Technician or Technologist diploma preferred, or 2+ years of equivalent experience

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics/diagrams

• Experience operating or testing control panels with PLC/embedded controls

• Experience with regulatory codes such as UL508A, CSA, NEC, and CE

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple day-to-day responsibilities in a timely manner
