We’re looking for a Communications Specialist who loves blending creativity, collaboration, and strategic thinking. In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic internal marketing and communications team that produces a wide range of creative assets to support marketing campaigns, internal initiatives, external projects, and much more.

As a key contributor at Financial Horizons on our cross-functional team, you’ll help bring stories to life—whether through content creation, project coordination, communication planning, or supporting campaigns across multiple channels. You’ll work alongside colleagues with expertise in advisor experience, project management, social media, and creative development, giving you plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and make your mark.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement communication strategies: Create and execute corporate or marketing communication plans that strengthen brand awareness, customer loyalty, and organizational reputation.
  • Manage and develop internal communication plans and messages to keep employees informed about organizational initiatives.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute communication materials: Copywriting, editing & revision for internal, external and marketing communications, and coordination of ongoing content. Ensure all content meets brand, style, and messaging guidelines.
  • Maintain and update communication assets and documentation: Ensure messaging consistency across all channels and maintain up-to-date brand materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, advisor experience teams, and other departments to align communication with organizational goals.
  • Brainstorm and execute content ideas that support brand and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with and brief design team members on deliverable associated with the initiative plans in your project.

What you will bring

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications studies or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in communications or marketing.
  • Experience in copywriting, creating clear messaging tailored to various audiences.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with creating marketing deliverables.
  • Exposure to marketing strategies.

The base salary for this position is between $54,300 - $ 81,400 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
