Marketing Operations Manager
 

As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will work to create scalable processes that ensure best practices in across the marketing function and beyond. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth functioning and consistent optimisation of the marketing function, following the user journey from lead acquisition all the way through alumni advocacy. You’ll focus on end-to-end marketing operations and optimisation from planning, execution, and analysis allowing core marketing functions to focus on delivering value.

The Marketing Operations Manager will create the marketing framework for the team, including planning, process, infrastructure, research and analysis. This role will deliver key insights and recommendations that optimise the performance of marketing programs

The mission is to:

  • Operate: Maximise our operating capabilities and optimise the execution of our marketing plans and tactics.
  • Plan: Drive and support key business and commercial projects as well as strategic initiatives across marketing and commercial formations with data-driven insights.
  • Process: Optimise the commercial processes from inbound lead enquiry to contract signing.

Responsibilities:

  • Technology: Own and scale the marketing technology infrastructure, systems and tools, to enable the entire marketing organization to better segment, target and engage with prospects and customers.
  • Insights: Deliver insights on performance via reports, dashboards and analyses to enable data driven decisions across the entire marketing organization.
  • Reports & Data: Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Performance: Partner with marketing, finance and sales teams to maintain an accurate view of marketing performance towards quarterly targets
  • Forecast: Build and optimize the detailed leads and pipeline model to track and forecast against targets.
  • Automation: Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system (i.e., HubSpot) to better nurture leads, increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads and improve the integrity of the overall database.
  • Programs: Take an active role in cross-company commercial programs - developing and executing 
  • initiatives designed to optimise sales and marketing team efficiency and productivity.
  • CRM Health: Monitor, maintain and improve the data quality within the marketing database to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • You have a holistic and collaborative approach to growing our business across marketing, sales, customer success and of product marketing. You are a driven, innovative and energetic marketeer, with a talent for empowering high performing individuals and the ability to get things done.

    As a Marketing Operations Manager you serve as the critical bridge both within the team and between our marketing, sales and customer experience teams acting as a conduit between stakeholders and the teams that will help execute commercial initiatives.

    Location: Denmark (Aalborg, Kolding, Copenhagen) or Canada, London.

What are we looking for - ideally?

  • You have min. 2+ years of experience within marketing ideally from a Tech/SaaS company
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, resources and adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Natural collaboration and bridge-building skills with your peers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems, and certified HubSpot specialist.
  • Working experience in Salesforce (specifically campaign, lead, account and contact objects) and Excel (pivot tables, look-ups, data analysis).
  • Experience administering or working with tools like Bizible, Demandbase, ZoomInfo, Asana or similar is preferred.

  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. There is no correct answers and we are not trying to categorize you - the aim is a dialogue about the results and Trackunit’s culture.
  • Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the work tasks related to the role, so you will be given a case to prepare after the initial screening interview. You will present the case to colleagues from across Trackunit.
