Description

Do you want to play a critical role in building and managing a marketing automation strategy that generates revenue and new business for our fastest-growing target segments? SoftwareReviews, a division of Info-Tech Research Group, a leading technology research and advisory firm, is looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success executing the day-to-day operations of marketing automation systems and who is ready for a new challenge.

The Role
In this highly visible operations role on the Marketing Operations team, you will be the central point of contact for SoftwareReviews’ Marketing, Sales, and IT Teams in the launch and ongoing management of a Marketo implementation. As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and enforcing standards for campaign planning, execution and measurement in Marketo.

You will manage the marketing programming calendar, and work with project team end users to plan and implement marketing automation to generate demand and leads, and to improve conversions and sales close rates. You will be proficient in analyzing pipeline, attribution and ROI data, presenting results and communicating areas for improvement to campaign owners and marketing leadership. You have experience implementing the best tactics for each stage of the customer journey and have a mindset toward continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing business processes. You are just as comfortable working with Sales as you are with Marketing, and you will build new processes and service level agreements between marketing and sales to support the successful implementation of Marketo as a revenue generating engine.


Major Responsibilities

• Daily operations management of Marketo and central point of contact for SoftwareReviews’ Marketo program management including governance and training
• Work directly with project team end users to plan and implement demand and lead generation campaigns and to improve conversion and sales close rates.
• Management of the MQL to SQL processes in Marketo and Salesforce.com including building and optimizing lead scoring methodologies
• Development of full funnel analysis leveraging lifecycle and attribution models as well as ongoing improvement recommendations
• Measurement and reporting ownership for marketing lead generation, campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution and overall business metrics
• Creation of scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management
• Contribute to the development of new strategies for customer acquisition, retention and engagement by leveraging marketing technologies
• Developing and enforcing processes and standards for campaign planning, execution and measurement, as well as managing the marketing programming calendar
• Pipeline analysis, attribution and ROI data analysis are critical aspects of the role, as is the ability to present results and recommend areas for improvement to campaign owners and marketing leadership

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM integrations/implementations (Marketo certified and Salesforce experience)
• Subject matter expert for marketing automation, with strong digital marketing and demand generation know-how including multi-channel demand generation, inbound, email and database marketing tactics
• Expertise in B2B marketing, and experience in high-tech is a plus
• Knowledge of digital marketing best practices including SEO, paid strategies, website usability, retargeting and web analytics is preferred
• Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing nurture campaigns in Marketo, and landing page strategy and optimization
• Understanding and creation of lead scoring, attribution and ROI models
• Outstanding project management skills, with experience implementing projects with diverse and complex data requirements
• Experience with advanced-level analytics (Google Analytics certification a plus)
• Proficient with analytics tools and building reports
• Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively or independently when necessary
• Understanding of global email and privacy regulations a plus
