Marketing Operations Strategist (Remote)

Your Job 

The Marketing Operations Strategist, primarily focusing on our growth platform NiceJob (nicejob.com), will be responsible for the successful execution of Paystone’s marketing technology, ensuring website visitors, new leads, and existing customers are delivered the right content at the right time to increase conversion and reduce churn. This is a highly analytical role that is constantly looking for ways to use technology to increase conversion rate, educate buyers and increase the velocity of the sales cycle. This role sits at the heart of the marketing team driving operational efficiency. They will play a critical role in alignment between marketing and sales, while also working closely with the teams responsible for CRM and BI.

Your Focus

  • Manage the day-to-day of Paystone’s marketing operations and technology, executing a best-in-class program to nurture leads and customers throughout the lifecycle
  • Partner with the broader marketing and sales teams to map out the holistic customer acquisition journey and content strategy
  • Build automated campaigns, sequences, and triggers through email, text and in-app messaging to drive conversion, product adoption, retention, and upsell/cross-sell
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing related to subject lines, messaging, design and CTAs to develop insights and drive continual optimization
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing operations and processes, such as segmentation, lead routing/scoring, data cleansing, and marketing attribution
  • Ensure Paystone stays in compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations
  • Take ownership of marketing data and reporting, liaising with our BI team when needed
  • Guide the evolution of our technology stack, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.

Who you are

  • 3+ years experience in Marketing Automation in B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on experience working with Marketing Automation platforms, such as Pardot, Hubspot, and Intercom, as well as other platforms such as Chili Piper, Salesforce & Google Data Studio.
  • Experience implementing and managing customer segmentation, lead scoring, and drip campaigns
  • Knowledge of database management concepts and best practices
  • Cross-functional RevOps experience aligning marketing, sales and customer success
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and email regulations, best practices, and compliance including but not limited to GDPR, CASL etc.
