You as a Software Engineer for our Financial Management System will:?
- Be accountable for deliverables and customer satisfaction
- Develop, test, analyze, maintain, and enhance our in-house ERP system, FMS (Financial Management System) to meet the functional needs of the business
- Integrate our in-house Project Management System, Gate Three as well as other external systems with our FMS system
- Present ideas for the development and improvement of software
- Provide input to determine the scope and duration of software development projects
- Maintain documentation for users, clients, and team members
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of proven work experience in software development
- Experience using Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, XML, and JSON
- Experience building integrations with SOAP and REST APIs
- Experience analyzing problems and finding solutions
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, databases, and object-relational mapping (ORM) framework
- IBM i, RPGLE, and Synon/2E experience an asset
- IBM Rational® Developer for experience is an asset
- Knowledge of TIBCO iWay Enterprise Service Bus is an asset
