We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with the ability to work with large, complex data sets to uncover insights, develop reports and help propel our business forward. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, you’ll be working to help our editorial, video and digital marketing teams identify trends and better understand our audience preferences and platform changes.

You’re great for this role if...

• You have two years of hands on experience working with data to help contribute to organizational goals
• You have experience in both data manipulation (SQL/Python/Spreadsheets) and visualization (Google Data Studio)
• You have a post secondary degree or diploma in business, economics, mathematics or information technology
• You have a working knowledge of statistical analysis, applicable to testing methodologies
• You have strong work ethic and communication skills
• Bonus points for familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Instagram & TikTok)

So, what will you be doing?

• Developing a solid understanding of our business and processes, and identifying areas we can leverage data to improve performance
• Partnering with our Audience Team (Editorial, Video and Digital Marketing) to provide data analysis and support 
• Creating internal reports and dashboards for both standard and project-based initiatives
• Providing statistical insight and a technical resource for hypothesis testing
