Location:  Remote - Canada 

 

The Role: 

The Retail CRM Business Analyst will be engaging with stakeholders and touch all aspects related to CRM lead delivery, measurement, reporting and analysis.  In addition, this person will become heavily involved in using new business tools to add value to the overall lead management process.

Responsibilities:

  • CRM Program Requirements Management:
    • Work closely with the cross-functional teams and various business stakeholders to identify, define, establish business priorities and validate business requirements.
    • Work with Program Owner to prioritize and draft user stories and define acceptance criteria to aid in overall technical requirements.
    • Translate program roadmap into manageable program backlog. Consistently ensure proper documentation of program backlog, communicate and negotiate business priorities with stakeholders.
    • Research logs and other system artifacts to gather data and generate meaningfully inferences that may translate into future CRM requirements or enhancements.
    • Generate SQL queries based on business needs using Select, SQL functions, Update, Insert and Optimisation of Views
    • Run defined Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports independently
  • CRM Issue Triage
    • Partner with CRM’s on resolution of lead delivery issues.
    • Communicate with CRM’s regarding new dealer activation and data sharing.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to investigate lead issues and communicate to internal partners and CRM’s accordingly.
  • CRM Certification Program Optimization
    • Become an advanced user of JD Power’s proprietary CRM Compliance Tool
    • Manage and evolve CRM Partner Demo Accounts
  • Data Analysis
    • Effectively use JD Power’s proprietary Business Intelligence Tool, Lead Monitoring Reports, CRM Partner Demo Accounts, Payload Look-up Tool and other tools to triage, evaluate and investigate data anomalies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in related disciplines and 3 - 5 years working in a similar role 
  • Understanding of database structure at conceptual level
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to delivery accurate and error free data generation
  • Strong PPT, email and MS Word skill sets
  • Ability to clearly communicate topics of a technical nature
  • Ability to work within a team and and manage expectations with various stakeholders
  • Provide timely resolution on identified issues to ensure leads are flowing and are being reported as expected.

Working Hours: Strong desire for successful candidates to be able to work 9:00am - 5:00pm CST/ 10:00am - 6:00pm EST Monday – Friday as well as a flexible attitude to support business needs.

Business Analysts with technical aptitude specifically as it relates to building software solutions have the ability to move into other roles within the organization such as a Project Management, Product Management, Software Development, QA and even management roles.
