Implementation/Training Coordinator

Job Description

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Implementation/Training Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring a successful implementation of the project for new and existing customers through effectively planning and executing all phases of implementation and training projects. Being the main point of contact, the Implementation/Training Coordinator also ensures all communications within a project run as smooth as possible at all times.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage all aspects of customer implementations and training as the main point of contact and ensure successful customer deployments.
  • Lead and participate in the discovery process with new and existing customers.
  • Ensure that customers’ business and operational requirements are fully understood and documented.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Technical Review team to ensure a shared understanding of all functional and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Training and Development Specialist to determine the most effective training component to support the customers.
  • Develop and communicate the key deliverables and milestones in the project timeline.
  • Delegate tasks under implementation projects and adjust the timelines as necessary.
  • Recommend best practices for technology and operations.
  • Coordinate with the internal support team (e.g., Tech Support and IT) in order to successfully conduct implementation and training projects.
  • Actively manage expectations and monitor customer satisfaction levels throughout the implementation process.
  • Develop and publish metrics to drive client satisfaction and adoption.
  • Advise and regularly communicate with senior management regarding progress towards goals and continuous improvement ideas.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of College Diploma in Training, Project Management or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management (ideally in software industry)
  • Professional demeanor and superior client management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
  • Working knowledge of Gantt Chart and other project management tools
  • Ability to travel to client locations (Required: valid driver’s license and passport)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Aviation experience/knowledge is a plus.
