Business Development Manager

What you will do:

  • Drive growing sales in a rapidly expanding market within your sales territory 

  • Develop, manage, and execute account sales plans for a high number of prospective customers 

  • Identify and prospect emerging organizations 

  • Execute the complete sales cycle from initial contact to post-sales services 

  • Identify customer needs and requirements for multiple accounts 

  • Regular customer site visits within your sales territory and attending local and global trade shows and events 

  • Understand and map out decision makers and the buying process 

  • Deliver presentations to customers at the C level 

  • Manage and contribute to RFI / RFP responses 

  • Negotiate terms and conditions and close deals 

  • Communicate and collaborate with a larger technical sales team within Cytiva 

  • Report all sales activities in CRM 

  • Consistently exceed annual sales targets 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences or equivalent work experience

  • 3 + years sales management experience in Biotech

  • 2 + years experience in biopharmaceutical process development or manufacturing

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

  • Customer focused with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Willingness to collaborate with a team distributed to different time zones (USCAN, EMEA, Asia)

  • Willingness to regularly travel up to 40%
